Here is a step-by-step guide on how to sell your Digital Asset on Tokenize Xchange.

Step 1: Open the ‘Markets’ page. You will see this page displaying the BTC/MYR market.

 

Step 2: Select the digital asset that you wish to sell on the tab you see on the right. For instance, if you want to trade ETH, click on ETH/MYR.

 

Step 3: We’ll use BTC for example. Click on BTC/MYR and scroll down to sell your BTC.

3.1. Limit Sell:

Select the ‘Limit’ tab if you wish to sell the digital asset at below/equal/above market value. Your order will be filled at or better than your specified price. Any quantity that is not filled rests on the continuous order book until it is filled or cancelled.

1. Wallet icon (your Balance): available BTC balance in your account.
2. Price MYR: Choose either to sell 1 BTC at the lowest Ask price, at the Last market price or at the highest Bid price, or enter your own desired price (below market/at market/above market).
3. Amount BTC: Key in the amount of BTC to sell.
   - You can also select a percentage of your available BTC balance to sell your asset. (e.g: Selecting ‘100%’ means you are selling all of your available BTC)
4. Total MYR: Amount in MYR for your ask order.
5. Time In Force:
   - Good till Cancelled (GTC): Your order will stay on the order book until they have been completely filled or until you manually cancel them.

Once all details are complete, click ‘Sell BTC’.

 

3.2. Market Sell:

Select the ‘Market’ tab if your priority is the amount over the price. Your order will be filled immediately at the best market price at the time of your order.

1. Wallet icon (your Balance): available BTC balance left in your account.
2. Price MYR: as per the best Market price
3. Amount BTC: Key in the amount of BTC to sell.

Once Amount BTC is entered, click ‘Sell BTC’.

 

3.3 Stop Loss:

Select the ‘Stop Loss’ tab if you wish to set a forced liquidation price.

1. Wallet icon (your Balance): Available BTC balance left in your account.
2. Stop Price MYR: Key in your desired price.
3. Amount BTC: Key in the amount of BTC to sell.

Once all the details are complete, click ‘Sell BTC’.

 

Step 4: Confirm your order.

You will see a confirmation window. Check all the details. Click ‘Confirm’ to proceed or ‘Cancel’ to cancel the transaction.

After confirming the order, you will see a green notification at the top of the page indicating that your order has been successfully placed.

An email will also be sent to you notifying the order placement. If you are not the one who initiates the order, please contact us at support@tokenizemalaysia.zendesk.com.

 

Step 5: If you placed a Limit Ask Order, you will be able to spot your order marked with a star in the Order Book at the left side of the page. See example below:

 

Step 6: To view your order, select ‘Orders’ on the dashboard and select ‘Spot Pending Orders’ to see pending orders and ‘Spot Completed Orders’ for completed orders.

 

Step 7: You may cancel your pending Limit Sell order by clicking on the ‘Cancel’ button next to your order.
